PSG Sarvajana School is holding a festival aimed at creating awareness among students about heritage games and alongside a heritage-themed exhibition at PSG Institute.
The event which began on January 5 would be on till January 12.
On first day, students participated in traditional games like pallanguli , kith kith (nondi), poshampa kho kho, kancha, lattu satoliya and gilli danda.
As part of the event, there would be programmes like healthy cooking, PSG kadambari music festival, short film contest, quiz, treasure hunt and logo formation. Entrance if free and all can participate in the programmes, organisers said.
The expo also delves into the history of PSG Institute right from inception in 1924. Students will get to know about the institute that was visited by luminaries like Sir CV Raman, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Dr S Radhakrishnan and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
