The rally started from Sankara Eye Hospital and ended at Saravanampatty police station. The rally was to make people attentive while driving, impart driving knowledge to people and create awareness about safety measures like wearing helmets.

Sujith Kumar said, “The highest number of road accidents happen in India and of this a sizeable number was in Tamil Nadu. Hence, awareness of the road safety is very important to save lives.” He said wearing any helmet was not enough, but quality ones properly strapped.
