Sarvavidya Fest concludes in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: The first of its kind national level championship for robotics, Sarvavidya fest, concluded recently. The event was organised by irobochakra, an robotics training academy in Coimbatore.

About 250 students participated In the championship at RS Puram Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Nithin Ghatpande, former group director, ISRO on Mangalyaan mission, was the chief guest.

Four events were conducted for the students as part of Sarvavidya, Robochamps 2018 – A robotic contest, science quiz, a science exhibition and an interaction session with Nithin Ghatpande. The exhibition was also cojudged by Raveendram Ramasamy, Managing Partner , Cardwell Manufacturing.

‘Geo Robots’ team from RS Puram CHSS was the winner in robochamps competition. Sri Krishna T, Jaya Karan, both Class 8 students of PSBB, were the winners in the exhibition and Monish Kiran A, Dinesh TV, both Class 8, of Suguna PIPS were the winners in science quiz.
