Sasikala, kin mentally tortured Jayalalithaa: MLA

AIADMK MLA representing the Koundampalayam constituency V.C. Arukutty on Wednesday accused V.K. Sasikala and her kin of giving mental torture to former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa leading to her death.
Coming down heavily on Sasikala’s kin T.T.V. Dinakaran and Divakaran, Arukutty told reporters that the disproportionate assets accumulated by Sasikala and company and related case had given mental agony to Jayalalithaa and ending her life 10 years early.
“Who are they. Have they worked for the party or gone to jail. The truth will come out about who has got support once general council is convened,” he said.
Claiming that Nanjil Sampath was taking huge money to speak at a public meeting, he said that it would be better for Pugazhenthi from Bengaluru to look after the affairs in Karnataka.
“The people will teach a good lesson to the MLAs, who are in Puducherry resort, attempting to topple the Edappadi Palaniswami’s Government,” Arukutty said.
