World over, October is observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The disease can be cured or effectively treated only if patients come forward for treatment at an early stage. Every year, breast cancer kills more than a hundred thousand women around the world. The good news is that 90% of early-stage breast cancers are curable.

To create awareness about breast cancer among the general public, especially women, KMCH has made special arrangements for an event featuring a signature campaign. *The event was inaugurated on 21 October 2026 at 6 PM at Semmozhi Poonga, Gandhipuram, by the Chief Guest, Mrs.Saraswathi Deputy Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation* in the presence of Dr. Nalla G.
