Special children receive prize from Collector

Twelve differently abled students from Avinashilingam School, Coimbatore won the first prize in the at the State level Science Drama competition held at Salem on 25th of August.

The students met the District Collector Archana Patnaik who greeted the students. The students proudly showed the certificates and medals given to them to the Collector. The Collector had an informal chat with these special students.

According to teacher Poonkuzhali of Avinashlingam School Special Training added that the competition was held at SBOA School for disabled students and this time it was held at Sri Saradha Vidhyalaya School at Salem.

The 12-member delegation who participated in the event included Indumuki, Afrin, Sneha, Sindu,and Sailokeswari respectively from 8th 9th,10th.

Additional Director of Rural Development Murugan with Naresh kumar General Manager health accompanied the children.
