Special team to trace youth

A special police team has gone to Chidambaram to trace a youth, who had reportedly abducted a 17-year old girl from R.S. Puram in the city, a couple of days ago.
The student, doing her first year B.com, did not return home from college, two days ago. An enquiry by parents with fellow students revealed that one Maniraj, hailing from Chidambaram, had taken her away.
Based on a complaint from the parents, police formed a special team, which has left for Chidambaram to trace the duo.
