Spinners distribute relief materials to Cuddalore

In an effort to support those affected in the rains in and around Cuddalore, the South India Spinners Association (SISPA), has distributed relief materials worth Rs 8 lakh.
In the first phase SISPA distributed essential items like bed sheets, dress materials (lungies), towels and mosquito coils worth Rs.six lakh to those affected in places of Poiyapillai Savadi,T.Mandapam, Amman Koil (South), M.K. Thottam, Ommakkulam, Sirakaditha Nanzur, Sivamayam, Kamblimedu and other areas of Cuddalore district, SISPA president, C Varatharajan said.
In the second phase more items like T Shirts, Lactogen worth around Rs. two lakhs, were distributed. The distribution was carried out in support of local administration at Cuddalore.
