‘Sports Vahana 2026’ Annual Sports Meet Held at Rathinam International Public School

Rathinam International Public School (RIPS), Coimbatore, hosted its grand annual sports meet, ‘Sports Vahana 2026,’ at the Rathinam NCC Ground with great enthusiasm and participation.
Martin Devapichai, Co-founder of Hosh Agile, a software company, was the chief guest at the event.He inaugurated the sporting activities and encouraged the students to actively participate in sports and maintain a healthy competitive spirit.
Rathinam Group Director Shima Senthil, School Principal Ashmi, Chief Operating Officer Abinaya Shankari, and Business Development Manager Karthi Palanivelu were among those present and appreciated the students for their impressive performances.
The event, held from 7.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from Kindergarten to Class XII. Students showcased their talents through a wide range of sporting and fitness activities, including Silambam, Taekwondo, aerobics, gymnastics and Zumba, besides various track and field events.
The students displayed remarkable discipline, coordination, athletic ability and team spirit throughout the competitions. Winners in various events were presented with gold, silver and bronze medals in recognition of their achievements.
The inter-house competitions added to the excitement of the sporting extravaganza, with Jathan House emerging as the Overall Champion and lifting the championship trophy.
More than 1,000 parents, teachers and students attended the event and cheered the young participants. The sports meet provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their physical abilities while promoting teamwork, discipline, confidence and sportsmanship.
