Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ERNET India, the Education and Research Network, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 21st October 2024 in Convention Center, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology.

K. Porkumaran, Principal, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore welcomed the gathering.
K. Adithya, Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions and A. Paventhan, Sr. Director (R&D) / Scientist-G at ERNET India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Chennai signed the MoU.

The MoU ceremony was graced by the presence of S. Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee; K. Sundararaman, Chief Executive Officer, Sri Krishna Institutions. ERNET India is serving academic and research institutions in the country by innovatively connecting them on Intranet and Internet using appropriate state-of-the-art technologies. Hence, this partnership aims to foster collaboration in various areas, including academic research, technology development, and knowledge exchange.

By leveraging ERNET INDIA expertise in electronic networking and advanced technology, SKCET students and faculty members will gain valuable insights and access to state-of-the-art resources.

In his address, A. Paventhan expressed his excitement about the signing of this MoU and shared his hopeful outlook for the positive results that will emerge from the partnership. K. C. Ramya, Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology delivered the vote of thanks. The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished faculty members, students, and representatives from ERNET India.
