Coimbatore, September 3, 2024 – SSVM Institutions proudly announced the winners of the Inspirational Guru Awards 2024 during the third edition of the Transforming India Conclave, held at SSVM Institutions in Coimbatore. The event was marked by a deep sense of appreciation and reverence for educators who have dedicated their lives to shaping the future of our society.

Valedictory Chief Guest Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, renowned author, and former diplomat, virtually launched his latest book “ A Wonderland of Words: Around the Word in 101 Essays” at the event, adding a literary flair to the celebrations. “A resilient India is not merely the product of economic growth or infrastructural development; it is the result of the ideas we nurture, the wisdom we cultivate, and the words we choose to share. In a world increasingly fragmented by polarization and short-sightedness, thought leadership has never been more critical. The true strength of our nation lies not in its physical boundaries but in the depth of our intellectual discourse, the courage to engage with diverse perspectives, and the ability to bridge divides with understanding and empathy. It is through this constant exchange of ideas and through leaders who are committed to the pursuit of truth and knowledge that we can inspire hope, innovation, and progress. In the end, resilient nations are those that are not only materially prosperous but intellectually vibrant, morally grounded, and deeply conscious of their place in the world. Today, more than ever, we need to harness the power of words and wisdom to shape a future where every citizen feels empowered, every community feels heard, and every challenge is met with thoughtful action.” said Dr. Shashi Tharoor, in conversation with Ms. Shoma Chaudhury, award-winning journalist and Founder of Lucid Lines, during their discussion on the topic “Words and Wisdom: Crafting a Resilient India Through Thought Leadership.”
