Tamil Nadu Telungu Makkal Katchi launches website

Party heads of the Tamil Nadu Telungu Makkal Katchi (TTMK) today launched an official website for the party in Coimbatore here.

According to a statement by TTMK founder and State President J Rajkumar, the website was opened to unite all Telugu speaking people in Tamil Nadu. “The State of Tamil Nadu has around 40 per cent of Telugu speaking people. But they are separated into castes and communities,” Rajkumar said.

He added that the website would also help in the developing the Telugu community in Tamil Nadu, in terms of education and lifestyle.

Rajkumar said that the party would insist that Telugu be added as the second language next to Tamil and informed that the website would give importance to road safety, matrimony, prohibition. It will also be a platform for registering new members to the party.
