Ten-day Coimbatore Vizha from Jan 27

The 9th edition of Coimbatore Vizha (Festival) is scheduled to be held here from January 27 to February 5.
An initiative facilitated by various organizations of Coimbatore, the Vizha has been a celebrated event “By the people of Coimbatore” and an event “For the people of Coimbatore” ever since its inception eight years ago and gives the right platform for people to celebrate the Spirit of Coimbatore.
The Vizha has been powered by the Coimbatore chapter of Young Indians, an integral part of CII, with generous support from various corporates, associations and individuals, Vizha Chair Praveen Kumar said.
The edition has a lot of new elements attached to it and there are many unique programs that are going to be organised with the objective of reaching and involving as many Coimbatoreans as possible to highlight the heritage of the city.
“We wish to make this edition with high content, rich in quality and unique in experience. Vizha should be a platform for the people of Coimbatore to experience the feeling of togetherness amongst them,” he said.
