Thousands participate in Lakshmi Narasimhan temple consecration ceremony at Coimbatore

Coimbatore : Thousands of devotees today witnessed the consecration ceremony of Sri Lakshi Narasimha Swamy temple on Oppanakkara Street in the city.
The age-old temple and its premised were under renovation for the last one year and the ceremony was held today much to the delight of the devotees who thronged the temple from nook and corner of the district.
Yagas and yagnas were performed from yesterday onward and the consecration ceremony was performed in the presence of municipal administration minister S P Velumani and government officials.
Traffic was diverted for smooth movement of the devotees.
