Three injured in stone pelting

Police are on the lookout for some motorcycle borne miscreants, who were involved in pelting of stones on Government-owned buses at four places in the district, from last night to early today.

According to police, the first incident was reported around 11 p.m. last night in Annur, when a gang in several motorcycles hurled stones on a Government bus, breaking its window panes, resulting in minor injuries to three persons.

Similar stone pelting incidents were reported in Pattrai, Neelipalayam and another place at Annur, through the night, they said.
