The TITA Expo for displaying Information Technology solutions for knitwear production industry began in Tirupur on Friday.

The three day fair organized by the Tirupur Information Technology Association (TITA), at Gayatri Hall, was inaugurated by the TITIA Ex-secretary Ravichandran.

Speaking about the event, Mohammed Ibrahim, Joint Secretary, TITA and CEO, Synergy Technology, said, “The expo has begun to showcase Tirupur as the mega industrial hub. The IT sector has contributed hugely to the growth of this city and industry. This expo will be an eye opener to the enterprising business community to take on the new challenges of a changing world.”

He hoped that the expo and TITA will go a long way in establishing Tirupur as a Smart Industrial City and to make it future-ready. He asked for cooperation of both the knitwear sector and IT sector to make it a reality.

The expo would be open for the visitors till on August 2.
