TMMK initiates Coimbatore MCH cleaning on 23rd anniversary

The medical wing of Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam cleaned the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital premises to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the party. Members also distributed fruits and biscuits to patients.

About 150 members participated in the cleaning drive. They cleaned the hospital surroundings and distributed fruits and biscuits to about 1,000 patients. Resident Medical Officer Dr R Soundervel inaugurated the drive.

TMMK propaganda secretary Covai Syed said, “In this country when people of all religions live together harmoniously, the Central Government  was using laws like uniform civil code and  triple talaq to threaten the  minorities.”

About the strike by TNSTC employees, he said, ”TNSTC is not meant  for profit-making but servig  people. Hence the Government should immediately initiate compromise talks with employees and find an amicable solution.”
