METTUPALAYAM: The Government headed by Chief Minister Edppadi K. Palaniswami will fall soon as the ruling party does not have majority in the State Assembly, sidelined AIADMK leader T.T.V. Dhinakaran said on Monday.
“Palaniswami was in a state of compulsion to prove his majority and with no required majority the government has to fall soon,” Dhinakaran told reporters at Mettupalayam on his way to Udhagamandalam.
“A corrupt government is being run in the State by taking the name of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa,” he alleged.
Stating that his victory in the RK Nagar by-poll was clear indication and a certificate, with whom the two-leaves symbol was remaining, Dhinakaran said that the ruling dispensation has clearly understood this. Later talking to reporters in Coonoor in Nilgiris district, Dhinakaran said that the decision to float a party will be taken in another week, after discussing with the party functionaries.
