TPDK protests against bringing coop banks under RBI

Coimbatore : Protesting against the Centre for its decision to bring Cooperation banks under RBI, Thanthai Periyar Draviar Kazhakam (TPDK) today staged a demonstration in the city.
Led by TPDK general Secretary, K Ramakrishnan, the workers raised slogan against the Centre for snatching away the power of State governments.
This will also deprive the job opportunities to the locals and getting loans become difficult, Ramakrishnan said.
He demanded that the proposal should be withdrawn.
