Due to this, the service of a few trains will be regulated to ensure minimum disturbance in the operation of trains and smooth completion of the work.

The trains passing through Palakkad Junction towards Coimbatore on September 3, will be diverted via Podanur-Irugur, without touching Coimbatore Junction.

The trains that will stop at Podanur Junction are Train No.56848 Palakkad Town–Tiruchirappalli Passenger, Train No.13352 Alapuzha – Tata Nagar Express, Train No.12521 Barouni –Ernakulam Express, Train No.17230 Hyderabad- Kochuveli Sabari Express, Train No.16318 Jammutawi – Kanyakumari Himsagar Express, and Train No.16859 Chennai Egmore – Mangaluru Express.
