Triple life for a man convicted of double murder

Coimbatore : A district court here Friday sentenced a man to undergo triple life imprisonment for a double murder and loot that happened two years ago.
The prosecution case was that one Karuppasamy had murdered Karthikeyan and his friend Venugopal and looted money and valuables at a marriage hall in the city on July 2 2016.
The case was going on in the 1st Additional District Court and the Judge Gunasekaran awarded triple life sentence to Karuppasamy, while two others were acquitted.
