Chennai : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisamy on Sunday slammed ousted leader TTV Dhinakaran for working against his government and accused him of colluding with the opposition DMK, which late party head J Jayalalithaa had construed as an evil force.
Palanisamy’s statement came just a day after Dhinakaran said that his faction will not ally with DMK and they will always remain their “first rival”.
However Chief Minister said “few people in TTV’s faction were depending on DMK and were miscalculating that they could dislodge the AIADMK government or destroy the party. Their dream of toppling the government or taking control of the party, is merely a dream and it will not happen”.
Reiterating his stance, Palanisamy said that there is no room for family rule in the party, pointing his fingers at jailed VK Sasiakala and her Deputy and nephew, TTV Dhinakaran.
