Two die as car hits bus at Oonjavelampatti

Coimbatore : Two persons were killed on the spot when their car hit a bus running in the front near Oonjavelampatti in the district.

Prakash, 30, working in a private firm, was driving the car to drop his friend Ramarajan at the bus stand from his house at Anupparpalayam near Pollachi, some 35 km from here around 5.30 am.

Prakash suddenly lost control of his vehicle and hit a government bus, resulting in the spot death of the two. The front portion ofthe car went into the bus, police said.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them for post mortem to Pollachi Government hospital.
