Two held for impregnating minor girl in Alappuzha

A minor girl became pregnant after her lover and his friends sexually abused her for a long period at Thuravur in Alappuzha. Two of the three accused of have been arrested. Rajesh, 28, Jinadevan, 29, were those arrested. Three others, including her lover, are absconding.
An autorickshaw driver Akhil Krishna befriended her and later fell in love with her. He promised to marry her and engaged in physical relationship. She was given alcohol and sexually abused for over a year. Once he lost interest in her, he introduced her to his friends who also abused her.
She fell ill and was taken to a hospital in Kochi where it was found that she was carrying. The hospital authorities informed the police who arrested the two and are hunting for others.
