Two unregistered vehicles impounded

Two unregistered vehicles were impounded by the Transport department as the drivers of the vehicles were unable to produce relevant documents.
The Officer of the flying squad, A Pandian impounded two Boleros at Sulur when he noticed that the vehicles did not have number plates. When sought for the insurance, bill, vehicle papers and driver’s license, both the drivers were unable to produce it. The vehicles were hence handed over to the Sulur police station.
The vehicles have been kept at the police station until the relevant vehicle documents are submitted. If the papers are satisfactory then the vehicles will be released else a case will be registered on the dealer, the official said. The vehicles were reportedly dispatched from the stock yard in Hosur and is to be delivered at Coimbatore Auto Industry
