COIMBATORE:Salem Division of Southern Railway on Tuesday issued a warning to general public and job aspirants to be aware about the claims by some unauthorised institutions running safety training course for assured employment in the Railways.

It has come to the knowledge of the Salem Division administration that a few private organisations claiming to be running railway safety education colleges, are enrolling students on the assurance of providing railway jobs on completion of the course run by them and they are learnt to be collecting hefty sums for such safety courses on the false assurance of providing railway jobs, said an official press release.

The public are hereby warned not to get carried away by such false promises as Indian Railways is not running any such college nor safety training course.

It is also informed that recruitment for Railways are being done only through authorised recruitment bodies such as Railway Recruitment Board and Railway Recruitment Cell.
Southern Railway is not a part of any other institution of any nature and will not be liable for any claims arising out of such courses.
