‘Life is like a camera, focus on what is important and you will capture it perfectly’. True. Life for 26-year old Kanagaraj Thangavel, an MBA graduate, became larger than life after he took to photography as his profession since it was his passion right from his childhood days.

Lady luck smiled on Kanagaraj after he completed PG in business administration to pursue a course in photography at National Institute of Photography in Mumbai where he learnt not only the basics, but a lot more on becoming a creative photographer since he felt a picture is worth a thousand words.

“Photography is a medium of creative art and a photographer gives life to it through his artistic skill,” he said and added that he initially started by capturing the beauty of nature, more precisely from garden. Slowly and steadily Kanagaraj developed his innate talent in photographing the different facets in life. He kick-started his professional photography from 2006 and developed it as ‘Photo Boys’ in 2010.

With 13 staff, mostly visual communication graduates, on his roll, Kanagaraj seized the opportunity and never let it slip through for the past four years to turn an acclaimed photographer capturing stills, besides montage videos and live-in candid photography. Offers poured in from several quarters through word of mouth and through references and friends.

He opened branches at Erode and Bangalore within a short of span of four years since he ventured into photography. Not just photography, ‘Photo Boys’ is exhibiting its creativity through videography.

“Marriages may be made in heaven, but they actually take place on earth and wedding photos are the most valuable possessions of people, which would bring those golden moments alive,” Kanagaraj said. Photography and videography are two integral part of one’s life that serve as media to look back the road one has travelled right from his childhood to adulthood.

‘Photo Boys’ is a member of World Photography Organisation and have a team of expert photographers, cinematographers, light directors, script writers, sound engineers, 3D artists, camera technicians, and editors who handle highly sophisticated equipments.
