Woman relieved of chain

A 63-year-old woman was relieved of her gold chain weighing five sovereigns by two motorcycle borne miscreants on Friday near Kurichi.
According to Podanur police, Kalyani was on her way to the bank, when the duo snatched her chain and sped away.
Following a complaint from Kalyani, Podanur police have registered a case and are investigating.
