Women block roads demanding drinking water

Women from Peelamedu blocked roads to express their anger over the unavailability of drinking water in that area.
The residents of Brindavan and Poonga Nagar near the airport said they were suffering without any water supply for the past 25 days.
The women gave up their protest when police and corporation officials reached the spot and assured that water supply will be resumed.
