Actor Vishal who came to Coimbatore today expressed his view that “it is good that young blood is coming into Actors’ Association’’. He has been quoted so while being asked by pressmen to comment on the news that actors like Dhanush and Simbu would be contesting against his group in the proposed Film Actors’ Association election.
The actor was in the city to attend a function for integrating student community in the task of protecting cattle. Commenting about the function, Vishal said, “I attended this function only as an animal lover. I am not against beef eating, but I oppose matters like torturing cattle by overloading them tightly while transporting in vehicles, grossly violating rules. It is not true that I participate in such activities in a view to enter into politics, as some may perceive it to be.’’
