11 hotels and resorts in Nilgiris elephant corridor to be sealed

Following a case filed regarding the infringement of buildings in the elephant corridor, the SC had ordered the Nilgiris collector to take a census of the unauthorized construction in the elephant corridor. Based on the findings, Supreme Court has ordered the sealing of 11 hotels and resorts constructed in the Nilgiris elephant corridor of Mudumalai area within 48 hours.
