28 Air Defence Regiment affiliates with Madras Regiment

The 62-year-old 28 Air Defence Regiment on Monday affiliated with Madras Regiment at a official ceremony at nearby Wellington. The 28 Air Defence Regiment took its birth from 16th Battalion of Madras Regiment (Travancore) in Hyderabad in 1956 and the old alliance came alive during the affiliation ceremony.
