AVT Plantation pares bonus, say workers

Workers of AVT Plantation approached the Nilgiris DIstrict Collector against the minimum bonus of 8 per cent offered, instead of 20 per cent. Workers alleged that their houses were in a bad condition and had no proper sanitation facilities. Hence, they demanded 20 per cent bonus at the earliest.
