Child abuse sparks protests in Ooty

The shocking sexual abuse of a two and half year old girl child by her neighbor in Ooty has sparked protests by the public. Though the parents had filed complaint with the Kethi police as well as the All women’s police station, no action was taken. Angered by this, the public erupted into protests. Subsequently, the neighbour has been arrested.
