A huge graveyard in Manjanakarai, Ooty is of service to the people of Ooty city and the surrounding areas. It also has an electrical crematorium. The graveyard which is adjacent to Manjanakarai and R.K.Nagar areas has some private schools also near it. Meanwhile , the graveyard which is ill maintained has become a dumping ground for the people living nearby. There is also a danger of infections for those passing by. The people of that area have petitioned that the concerned authorities should take necessary action against this.
