Mettupalayam-Coonoor NMR cancelled on Tuesday too

Nilgiris Mountain Rail service between Mettupalayam and Coonoor has been cancelled on Tuesday too due to track restoration works.
The rail service was cancelled four days ago following landslips and falling of trees at various places on the tracks due to incessant rains for the last one week.
As the restorations work, particularly removing slush and mud from the track is still under progress, the services have been cancelled on Tuesday also, official sources said. However, the service between Coonoor and Udhagamandalam will run as usual.
