Police personnel honoured in Ooty

The 69th Republic Day was celebrated in a grand manner here with District Collector Innocent Divya hoisting the tricolour at the Government Arts College Grounds on Friday. She also inspected the Guard of Honour.
The Collector also presented medals to police personnel for their exemplary service and distributed welfare schemes worth Rs. 3.13 crore.
District Superintendent of Police Murali Rambha and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
