Root public’s plea to popularise Arboretum

Ooty Arboretum established in 1982 on the Fernhill road has a wide variety of rare species of trees and herbs. But most of the tourists are not aware of its existence. The public have appealed that name boards and direction boards advertising it should be set up in order to popularise the arboretum among the tourists.
