Sterling Bio-Tech served notice to remove materials endangering the environment

Sterling Bio -Tech , a manufacturing unit in Ooty had its power and water supply disconnected for non – compliance with the recommendations of the TN Pollution Control Board. Further to this, the TNPCB of eight under its official Nalini held investigations in the complex and has identified materials worth Rs.8 crores which endanger the environment. The district administration has ordered the management to remove them within a week.
