Temperature dips as heavy rains lash Nilgiris

Temperature in and around Udhagamandalam, Kothagiri and Coonoor dipped on Thursday following heavy rains accompanied by strong winds.
A number of trees were uprooted, snapping of electrical lines. Power supply has been suspended in many places. Normal life has been disrupted following the rains.
