* With the second season round the corner in Udhagamandalam, District Collector Innocent Divya on Saturday kick started the ground work by planting a sapling at the Botanical Gardens here.
* Three youths – two from Toda community and one from Badiga community – from the district have been selected to represent India at the World Cup Mini football tournament to be held in Tunisia next month.
