Coimbatore shows the way for effective E-Waste management
August 21, 2018
Green Era Recyclers in collaboration with Coimbatore Corporation has taken the initiative for the safe disposal of E-waste (electric and electronic waste). An E-waste Bin has been set up in ward 22 of Coimabatore for collection of small E-waste like phones, CFLs and batteries. E-waste contains harmful compounds which endanger the environment if not disposed properly. And, this is where Green Era Recyclers come in. Prasanth O, Managing Partner of Green Era Recyclers makes an appeal to the public to be responsible in the disposal of E Waste by depositing them in the bin or in collection centres meant for this. And also in cases of bigger articles, if a request is made through their website or by phone, Green Era would make arrangements to collect them at your doorstep.
