Nature is the best teacher. And, what better way than to let the children interact with the animals and birds as part of their curriculum. The school rears indigenous breeds of animals like Kaangeyam cattle and Raajapaalayam dogs apart from hens, rabbits , fishes and birds and lets the children have a hand in their caring.

After the famed jallikattu protest, the children who were already happy with the animals in their school are now proud too. The school inculcates in the children the importance of rearing indigenous breeds .
