Mindless forwards and false rumors have a way of spreading like wild fire .Where it becomes dangerous is when it instigates violence. The recent mob lynchings in Assam, Maharashtra and some places in south India were the outcome of the misinformation spread on child lifters. Photo shopped videos instill terror and spread fear . We as responsible citizens should use our common sense and logic before believing or forwarding any messages. When in doubt, google or still better is to not forward the dubious messages at all.
