“Parents should value education of children with visual impairment as an investment. So with that purpose, we launched the campaign Education for All Children with Visual Impairment. This is a campaign launched by the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment, in partnership with the World Blind Union, to promote educational opportunities for children with visual impairment throughout the world in 2006. Another objective of the campaign is to ensure that all the general educational initiatives include a component of education of children with disabilities, particularly children with visual impairment. Another key component of the campaign is that the children who are in the inclusive educational setting have to be given support services”
