BJP firming up a strong poll alliance in Tamil Nadu

Chennai : BJP is working out a strong alliance for the 2019 general elections.

Announcing this at Madurai, union minister Ravishankar Prasad told press persons in Madurai that “Very soon a strong coalition will be announced in Tamil Nadu. There will be an effective and powerful NDA (National Democratic Alliance)”.he said.

The BJP he said would cross the 300 seat mark in Lok Sabha polls and NDA will win 350 seats and form the government.

He maintained that central govt had provided various assistance and projects for Tamil Nadu.

The first round of alliance talks with AIADMK ended on Thursday.

Union Minister and BJP’s Tamil Nadu election in-charge Piyush Goyal and leaders of the state’s ruling AIADMK and held talks.

Goyal, accompanied by state Earlier in the day BJP President Amit Shah, speaking in the state’s Erode, said the party would soon form a strong electoral alliance in the state.
