She instructed that the DGP along with his district SPs shall conduct police station inspections of records and any criminal absconding or declared a Proclaimed Offender all efforts be made to trace the person concerned. This progress made by respective SHOs be tracked in weekly crime reviews, she said.

Kiran Bedi said that she would personally review the progress in the first week of February.

Based on police crime station, those involved in violent crimes be brought under active surveillance by opening personal files/ history sheets/ action under section 110 G of CRPC be contemplated for crime prevention, she said.

“The history sheets must have the names of the associates whoever they be. No one will be spared. Puducherry must stop making rowdism a source of employment for the unemployed,” Bedi asserted. Anyone with Past record their sureties be verified. And seen if they are able to exercise due control or else move for cancellation of their surety, Kiran Bedi said in her instructions.
