Government bus drivers and conductors protest in Thiruppathur

Condemning the police attack on their colleagues in Manamadurai, government bus drivers and conductors in Thiruppathur protested by refusing to drive the buses. The strike which continued for two hours from 9 to 11 in the morning ended after Thiruppathur DSP, Illango had conciliatory talks with the union leaders. The public were highly inconvenienced by this sudden strike.
