Three temples in Coimbatore were set on fire after the Periyar statue was painted saffron yesterday. Makali Amman temple in Town Hall, a Vinayagar temple in front of the Railway station and Selva Vinayagar temple in Nallampalayam were set on fire by unidentified persons from last night.
