Woman tries to immolate herself along with her daughter in Collectorate

Following the sexual harassment of their 16 year old mentally challenged girl by their neighbour in Valpaarai, the parents lodged a complaint with the police. But , the police filed a different case against the accused and let him off with a fine. The accused has been terrorising the girl and her parents post this. In frustration, the mother tried to immolate herself along with her daughter in front of the Coimbatore collectorate demanding justice. This caused a fracas in that area for a short while.
